Dr. Aurora Maher obtained her Ph.D. at Carnegie Mellon University. She started her career in 2005 as a quantitative strategist at a Merrill Lynch proprietary trading group, where she managed portfolios valued in hundreds of millions of dollars. Later she worked at McKinsey Investment Office and other private funds including Hedera Capital, which she co-founded.
At AMFA, Dr. Maher works closely with investors and clients, not only helping them meet financial investment goals using AMFA's strategies, but also helping them to understand other investment opportunities they may encounter.

Yingying Tan
Chief Operating Officer
Yingying has years of experience in finance prior to joining AMFA. Yingying worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch's Electronic Trading desk and the US Equity Index Options Trading desk. She provided trading execution advice to institutional clients; and managed the index option book including structured products. Subsequent to that, Yingying also worked at Goldman Sachs' Electronic Trading Strategy Group.
Yingying obtained her Masters of Science in Financial Engineering from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. She also graduated with honors from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelors of Engineering in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Engineering Entrepreneurship from the University of Pennsylvania.
